How long will it take to receive my dress?
We recommend ordering your dress at least 14 weeks from the wedding date. This allows plenty of time for shipping and preparing the dress in time for the big day! All of our dresses are shipped FedEx Ground. Rush shipping options are available as well.
Keep in mind that most bridesmaids choose to have minor tailoring done to personalize the fit. Production and shipping typically takes 10-12 weeks from the date we transmit the bridal party’s order. Since all of our dresses are made to order, it is important to order well in advance of the wedding date. Please note that all dresses for a single bridal party are held until each bridesmaid has submitted sizing and payment information. The full order is processed once each bridesmaid has completed her order to ensure that each dress comes from the same dye lot (to avoid any variation in dress color).
Does Weddington Way ship overseas?
Yes, we ship internationally! Extra shipping charges will apply, and not all dresses are eligible to be shipped overseas. Contact us to ask for a shipping quote! We have shipped dresses to Canada, Australia, UK, New Zealand, Holland, Germany and many more countries.

How can I track my order?
You will receive a confirmation email with a shipment tracking number after your dress is shipped. You can also track your shipping status by logging into Weddington Way’s website. Make sure that you’re in your “sample bridal party” by clicking on the bridal party switcher at the very top of the page. Proceed to the “my bridal party” page where you’ll see a checklist on the left hand side. Click on “track order status” to track your dress order.
If you are a bride, you can track your bridal party orders through the bridal party page.
How much does shipping usually cost?
Shipping is FREE on all orders greater than $150 in the contiguous US and shipped via UPS ground! For orders under $150, shipping is a flat $9.99 fee.
Shipping on all swatch orders, both international and domestic, is FREE of charge.
We do have rush shipping options available at an additional cost. Rush shipping cost vary depending on designer and time frame.
We recommend that you have your dress shipped to a business if you are unsure about the safety of a package being left at your residence.
**Please note that packages marked as ‘undeliverable’ by UPS and sent back to Weddington Way, will be reshipped at the customers expense.
What does my order status mean?
Below is an explanation of the various order statuses on Weddington Way
Processing -
For swatch orders: Your order has been received and will be addressed shortly
For dress orders: Your order has been received.
If this order is part of a bridal party, it will be considered “ready for production” once the entire bridal party has placed their orders. If you are aware that the entire bridal party has purchased their dresses, please let us know and we will consider it “ready for production”
If this is an individual dress order and is not part of a bridal party, please let us know and we will consider it “ready for production”
Ready for Production – The entire bridal party has purchased their dresses. Order is ready to be sent to the manufacturer for production.
In Production – The dress order has been transmitted to the manufacturer and is currently in production.
Partially shipped – A part of the swatch order has been fulfilled. The rest has been placed on backorder. Backordered swatches can take up to 3 weeks.
Backorder – If the swatches are not in stock at Weddington Way, the order is sent to the manufacturer for fulfillment. Backordered swatches can take up to 3 weeks.
Complete – Dress or Swatch order has been shipped.
Closed – Order has been cancelled and the purchase amount has been refunded.
