The sunset. It’s my favorite color palate. Mike proposed on the beach at sunset. And orange is both Mike and my mother’s favorite color. Something the groom and mother of the bride agree upon? We HAD to go with that!
The ceremony was perfect. We wrote our own vows and made everyone cry, including the strong quartet. Then we made everyone laugh when I squirted windex on Mike’s ring finger to get his wedding band over his big knuckle. We floated back down the aisle on cloud 9, and as we turned the corner where the guests couldn’t see us anymore I proclaimed “That was perfect!” and then promptly got my one heel caught in the bow of the other shoe, ripper the bow off, and practically face-planted in the grass. Mike caught me at the last second, like a good husband should, I guess!
We met the first semester of law school. It was several times of meeting at parties or passing each other in the library before we ended up talking. But when we did we sat outside of the law school’s weekly TGIF event and skipped the movie to talk for hours with a couple friends. We ended up being friends first before we started dating, but that didn’t last long. We were a couple by January.
I loved the customer service. The website was easy to use and it was a great way to get bridesmaids living all over the world involved - but the fact that it was clear that those at WW cared so much about our experience is what made the site a real joy to use.
