Q&A WITH THE BRIDE
What was the inspiration or color scheme for your wedding?
The inspiration was the Monet water lilly painting. I have loved Monet since I was a little girl, and love the colors in the painting. The focus color was a turquoise but we had some lilac, pinks and yellows in the flowers.
What was your favorite wedding moment?
My favorite moment was during the ceremony, when we looked back at the full church and saw how much our friends and family support us.
How Did You and The Groom First Meet?
We are students at Union Presbyterian Seminary together and we were fast friends, but it was a weekend in DC and a trip to the National Gallery of Art that brought us together.
What was your favorite part of the Weddington Way experience? Why did it work for you?
Weddington Way made ordering bridesmaid dresses for all the girls much easier. We had a dress picked out from another company that did not fit everybody, and having a variety of sizes and a good quality dress was wonderful.
