How to take your measurements for a bridesmaid dress:

Step 1: Measure your bust

Step 2: Measure your (natural) waist

Step 3: Measure your hip

A couple of notes to keep in mind when taking measurements:

• Do not take measurements with clothing on – only undergarments.  Make sure to take your measurements wearing undergarments similar to what you would wear at the wedding.  For example, if you plan on wearing a lined/padded bra underneath your dress, wear a lined/padded bra when you take your measurements.

• As a rule of thumb, it’s best to order a size up if you’re falling between sizes – it’s much easier to take a dress in, than it is to take it out.  Dresses may need some tailoring, and the good news is that the dresses we carry are constructed with seams that make them very easy to tailor.
