Dear Weddington Way Customers,

Weddington Way was started in 2011 with the goal of transforming an outdated and stressful bridesmaid dress shopping experience, and making it enjoyable again for brides and bridesmaids alike. Since that time, we have had the honor of being a part of special days for half a million brides and bridesmaids.

In early April, Gap Inc made the decision to exit Weddington Way. As a result, we are in the process of closing our shops within Banana Republic stores around the country while evaluating future plans for Weddington Way. We hope that Weddington Way will continue to serve you through our website indefinitely, but at this point – pending a decision on future plans – we can only accept orders made through June 11, 2018. Any order placed on or before that date is guaranteed to be fulfilled, and we will honor returns.

We know that our customers depend on us, and we take this responsibility very seriously. We are truly honored to serve you and humbled by the opportunity to be part of such an important moment in your lives.   2. When are the WW shops closing?

  3. We are ramping down the shops through June 11, 2018 and the website will take orders until at least June 11, 2018. We will follow up with customers with specific dates once we have a detailed timeline. All current orders will be fulfilled and we can continue to take new orders in the shops until they close and on the website until at least June 11th.


    1. Will your website still be up and running when the shops close?

    2. Yes, our website will continue to operate after our shops close. Orders made online through June 11, 2018 will be honored and you will have the option to make returns as well. We will share updates on our plans for after June 11, 2018 when we have more information.


    3. Can I still visit my local shop?

    4. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Friday, but weekend visits are by appointment only. Some shops are offering limited appointments in April and May. Please check your local shop page for more details.


  • What is the last day that I can visit my local shop?

  • We will share specific shop location dates as they become finalized.


  1. Will my existing order be affected?

  • Any open orders with Weddington Way will be fulfilled as per the timeline indicated to you.


  1. What will happen to my showroom after June 11?

  • You will still be able to access your showroom after June 11. We will notify all customers before we make any changes that will impact showrooms and accounts.


  1. Can I still make an appointment?

  2. Some shops are offering limited appointments in April and May. Please check your local shop page for more details.


  1. I have an appointment coming up. Do I still have an appointment?

  2. Yes, the vast majority of appointments will still be honored. If there is any change to your specific appointment, we will proactively reach out to you.


  3. How do I cancel an appointment?

  4. You can cancel your appointment via the link on your appointment confirmation email. If you can’t find your confirmation email, you can email our stylists at stylists@weddingtonway.com


  1. What do I do if a dress I want is on pre-order with delivery after June 11?

  2. We’ve got you. Any orders placed through June 11 will be honored. Please note that the date listed for pre-order items is the ship date, so you'll receive your order 5-7 days later.


  1. What if the dress I want is sold out?

  2. If the item is sold out, our expert team of stylists can help you find a different dress that’s in stock and available to get to you ASAP. We will not be restocking sold out styles.


  1. What is your return policy?   

  2. Dresses designated as returnable are eligible to be returned and that will not change.  Your returnable dress will ship with a return order slip and a pre-paid return label, so you will have everything you need if you are not satisfied with your order. See website for which dresses are "Returnable" Returns for all orders placed through June 11 will follow our standard returns guidelines.


  • RETURN GUIDELINES:

  • • Only Returnable dresses are available to be returned for a refund, less $5 restocking fee

  • • Returnable dresses must be returned within 2 weeks of receipt

  • • Returnable dresses must be returned in the condition you received them

  • • Returnable dresses must be unworn, unwashed, or unaltered with all tags attached

  • • Shipping fee for an order is non-refundable

  • • In the case of a dress that arrives late, or with stains, we charge a $15 fee

  • • For International orders, your returnable item(s) will not ship with a pre-paid return label. You will have to cover the cost of shipping the item(s) back to us. Please send us an email at stylists@weddingtonway.com so we can provide you with an address for our returns facility. 


  1. How do I return?

  2. Complete the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) form included in your package and include the reason for return

  3. Affix the pre-paid shipping label to the package. Drop off the package at a UPS facility or UPS drop box within 2 weeks of receipt


  1. Can I bring a dress to a shop to return it?   

  • Our shops serve as showrooms, so we do not process purchases or returns in our shops. That process is all handled online.


  1. Where do I send my return or exchange?

  2. Our return process will not change. You will still be able to return your dress within 2 weeks by shipping it back to us with our pre-paid labels.


  1. How do I exchange an item?

  • Weddington Way does not process exchanges. If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return your order as long as it meets our return guidelines. Please refer to our return policy.  You can then place a new order for the item you prefer up to at least June 11, 2018.


  1. Will Banana Republic stores accept and process WW returns after the WW shops close?  

  • No. Banana Republic will not process purchases or returns in store. That process is handled online through the Weddington Way website.


  1. If half my bridal party has bought their dresses from you, and the other half has not bought yet, what should I do?

  2. The rest of the bridal party can still place an order until June 11, 2018. We will reach out to partially purchased bridal parties with a reminder about the final order date. Please check the website for dress availability. Some dresses are out of stock and availability can change quickly.

  1. Can I still order swatches? 

  2. You can still order swatches online through May 11, 2018. This will allow enough time for the swatch to arrive before our order deadline.
